The ComboValve is a normally closed, self sealing, fail-<\/span><\/span>safe valve that combines the functions of the air inlet valve<\/span><\/span> and blowdown valve, eliminating premature failure of the<\/span><\/span> blowdown system. It is controlled\u00a0 with either pneumatic<\/span><\/span> or electric remote controls. When the deadman control is<\/span><\/span> pressed, the\u00a0 ComboValve\u2019s unitized piston assembly instantly<\/span><\/span> shifts, opening the air inlet and pinching the blowdown\u00a0 hose<\/span><\/span> closed, starting the blasting operation. None of the usual wear<\/span><\/span> or failures found in other blowdown\u00a0 systems can occur with<\/span><\/span> the ComboValve.<\/span><\/span>
The ComboValve eliminates the need for abrasive traps,<\/span><\/span> expensive plungers and diaphragms that can require<\/span><\/span> frequent, unscheduled and costly downtime. The 3\/4\u201d 4-ply<\/span><\/span> blowdown hose can be replaced in just a few minutes, and any<\/span><\/span> service or repair can be safely performed without removing<\/span><\/span> the complete valve.
