The BAABS deadman safety control is designed to keep operators safe and incidents down. BAABS redirects most of the blast nozzle thrust onto the Thrust Management Brace Assembly which can be placed onto the chest or other parts of the body capable of absorbing thrust for longer durations. BAABS directs the strength demand directly onto the torso and it requires a smaller number of muscles to manage nozzle thrust which significantly reduces operator fatigue.
